Ivanti, BT Business to simplify cybersecurity for SME, enable customers to protect mobile, distributed workforce

Sally Fuller of BT Business

3 May 2023 – Ivanti, a provider of the Ivanti Neurons automation platform that discovers, manages, secures and services IT assets from cloud to edge, has expanded partnership with BT Business, a telecommunications and network provider. The extended partnership is marked by the launch of Ivanti SME Secure UEM which is now included as part of EE’s business plans at no-charge.

Digital transformation is a business imperative. Organisations that migrate to the cloud, and enable a remote workforce, experience the benefits of agility, scale, productivity, and the ability to work anywhere. Securing this new way of working is difficult for a business to manage on their own due to the exponentially expanding attack surface and highly sophisticated cyber criminals looking to take advantage of it.

“Small and medium enterprises know that cybersecurity is important, but their number one focus is meeting their customers’ needs,” says Sally Fuller, director of mobility services at BT Business. “Businesses need to know that their mobile security needs are taken care of, so they can concentrate on their core business. This is why we are delighted to be expanding our more than decade-long partnership with Ivanti to remove the complexity from cybersecurity for our customers.”

Ivanti SME Secure UEM is now available so that SME and mid-market sized businesses can simplify their inventory, configure and manage mobile devices with ease, and create profiles and enforce restrictions through security policies. EE’s Professional Services will also be available as an optional chargeable extra to help customers correctly install, configure and deploy Ivanti’s UEM and threat defence solutions. BT Business and Ivanti have partnered for more than a decade to provide SME customers with the tools they need to protect an increasingly mobile and distributed workforce. This solution by Ivanti and BT Business helps employees of small and medium enterprises stay secure and productive on any mobile device, across mixed estates (iOS and Android) and is great for BYOD environments

“At Ivanti we build our solutions with a security mindset,” says Srinivas Mukkamala, chief product officer at Ivanti. “We recognise the challenges that small and medium enterprises face with an expanding IT estate, a growing number of vulnerabilities, and threat actors who are weaponising vulnerabilities at the speed of light. That is why we develop solutions that take the complexity out of cybersecurity, along with removing barriers so that our customers save time, money, and resources when they need to remediate a vulnerability in their environment.”

The Ivanti SME Secure UEM makes it so that organisations only need to implement user and device policies once and apply them across all devices. It also fully integrates with Apple business manager, Samsung knox mobile enrollment and Google zero touch to make onboarding as seamless as possible. environments.
