London, UK. 21 April 2022 – OutSystems, a global specialist in low-code application development, released findings from a global survey of IT leaders and developers gauging the benefits and challenges of cloud-native development, with results highlighting stark contrasts between expectations and readiness. The report, “Cloud-Native Development: Ready or Not? What IT Executives and Developers Say,” reveals that while analysts expect a sharp rise in cloud-native development globally, more than half of respondents (53%) still don’t know much about it.

New research shows IT leaders need to upskill teams to extract value from data

Dublin, Ireland. 27 April, 2022 – New research from Digital Realty the global provider of cloud and carrier neutral data centers, colocation and interconnection solutions, reveals that 65% of IT leaders from some of the world’s biggest businesses say they need to increase the data competency of their teams to remain competitive and extract value from data. This increases to 78% when focusing on North American businesses, compared to 63% for Latin American businesses, 55% for European businesses and 48% for Asian businesses.

Regtech to account for over 50% of regulatory compliance spend globally by 2026

Hampshire, UK – A new study from Juniper Research has found that global regtech spend will exceed $204 billion (€191.59 billion) by 2026; accounting for over 50% of all regulatory compliance spend for the first time. This spend will grow from $68 billion (€63.86 billion) in 2022; representing growth of over 200% over the next four years. The report identified the integration of regtech services with BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service) models as key to realising this future market growth.

Aruba ESP delivers Cloud-native services to speed deployment and protection of edge-to-cloud networks

San Jose, California and Las Vegas Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, announced significant advancements to Aruba ESP (Edge Services Platform), with new functionality in Aruba Central to enable organisations to keep pace with rapidly changing business requirements. The new Aruba Central NetConductor allows enterprises to centralise the management of distributed networks with cloud-native services that simplify policy provisioning and automate network configurations in wired, wireless, and WAN infrastructures. Central NetConductor enables a more agile network while enforcing Zero Trust and SASE security policies. Aruba also revealed the industry’s first self-locating indoor access points (APs) with built-in GPS receivers and Open Locate, a proposed new industry standard for sharing location information from an AP to a device.

Cognigy increases series B funding to $59m with new investor DTCP

London, UK Cognigy, a global provider of omnichannel customer service automation, has closed an additional $15 million (€13.59 million) funding round with DTCP. This brings the total Series B funding for the company to $59 million (€53.47 million).
