Lumen Technologies, Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance employee efficiency, customer relationships

Lumen Technologies Inc is working with Microsoft Corp. to deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot to empower its approximately 30,000 employees. Lumen is beta-testing Microsoft 365 Copilot as a part of the early access programme (EAP). The company has already seen the benefits of equipping some of its teams with Microsoft’s large language model (LLM) AI (artificial intelligence) solutions, with plans to deploy the tech more openly in future.

VERSES completes EU funded autonomous drone governance programme

VERSES AI Inc. has announced completion of Flying Forward 2020 (FF2020). The three-year project that began in November 2020 was funded by European Union to test viability of autonomous drones across five European cities. The final two trial cities, Oulu, Finland and Tartu, Estonia, join the three other sites Eindhoven, Netherlands, Milan, Italy, and Zaragoza, Spain in demonstrating essential digital infrastructure for governing autonomous drones.

TTP, Viasat to introduce Gotonomi at Commercial UAV Expo

TTP plc announces launch of Gotonomi at upcoming Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas. With the aim of seeding the market, Gotonomi will offer low size, weight and power satellite terminals for uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) as flight trial development kits to partners. The terminals will be compatible with Viasat’s Velaris global connectivity solution, and have been developed as part of Iris air traffic modernisation programme, led by European Space Agency (ESA) and powered by Viasat’s ELERA satellite network.
